The Blue Elephant offers an instant escape, whether you’re a Philadelphia local looking for adventure just beyond the city limits or simply a traveling gourmand.

Upon entering the historic space, guests are greeted by lofted ceilings decorated with ornate fixtures that pay homage to the building’s original function as a bank.

When curating their tabletop, it was important to have a mix of imperfect inspiration mixed with more polished porcelain. The Blue Elephant is the first restaurant in Pennsylvania to feature Earth by Robert Gordon Australia, since we brought it stateside in early 2019. Earth’s organic shape and speckled finish are starkly contrasted against the cool and collected Pax and Ellipse ranges from Figgjo Norway. Amefa’s Diplomate flatware in a vintage champagne finish frames these place settings while also highlighting the brass accents found throughout the dining room.
