Singer was awarded Honorable Mention for the new tabletop installation at The Blue Elephant in Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine’s annual Performance in Tabletop competition. Sales representative Sally Harris worked with owners Win and Sutida Somboonsong and their daughter Pearl Somboonsong, Director of Operations at the restaurant in Pottstown. Housed in a former bank, the design team showcased the original brass work and light fixtures, enhancing the look with the selection of tableware. The Blue Elephant was thoughtfully crafted to honor the past while celebrating the present and looking to the future. In commenting on the entry, the FE&S judges stated, “The color combinations, including the deep blues paired
with gold chopsticks and flatware, gave this tabletop a theatrical element.”
